Last summer, adorable “Minnie vans” designed with polka dots inspired by Minnie Mouse began transporting guests of Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort around Disney property. As of today, the Minnie Van service has now rolled out to all guests on Walt Disney World property.

Guests on Disney property can order their Minnie Van though the Lyft app on their smartphone. Minnie Vans are usually only just minutes away and come with a Cast Member who will happily drive you to your destination.

How To Request A Minnie Van

Requesting a Minnie Van is very simple. Just follow the steps below:

  • Open the Lyft app on your smartphone
  • Confirm your location
  • Enter your Walt Disney World destination and tap “Request”
  • The app will show a map tracking your Minnie Van as it makes it’s way to the pick up location. You will also receive an identifying vehicle number to help you spot your van when it arrives.
  • Payment is taken care of within the Lyft app.

Minnie Van Details

Minnie Vans can accommodate up to 6 guests and are include 2 car seats. Certain Minnie Vans are also able to accommodate wheelchairs, motorized vehicles, and ECVs; however, there may be a longer wait time for these.

Cost

The Minnie Van service costs $25 per trip, per vehicle. Minnie Vans are available from 6:30 a.m. until 12:30 a.m. Please note, the price and hours are subject to change.

This is a great idea for transportation. Sometimes you dont want to wait for a bus and just want to get picked up and dropped off at your resort.

It really is! Last year we shared a Lyft back to our resort with a couple other guests we met in the bus line after park closing on 4th of July. It was so much better than waiting in what I’m pretty sure would have been at least a 2 hour long bus line. We’re planning to try a Minnie Van for 4th of July this year.
