Disney’s Riviera Resort, the 15th Disney Vacation Club Resort is now accepting reservations beginning in December 2019. This new Walt Disney World resort finds its inspiration from the European Riviera, as well as, Walt Disney’s travels throughout Europe and the Mediterranean coastline.
The resort’s elegant early 20th-century design will welcome guests with a beautiful palm tree lined boulevard and gorgeous archways, cascading water features, towers, and terraces. Disney’s Riviera Resort will feature a grand oval lobby with stunning views of the resort lawn and lakefront. The resort’s unique art collection will showcase Disney characters in one-of-a-kind works of art drawing inspiration from the European Riviera.
Disney’s Riviera Resort will include approximately 300 vacation homes, including deluxe studios, one and two bedroom villas, and grand villas which will sleep up to 12 guests. This new DVC resort will add a new room category, tower studios, which sleep up to two guests and include a private balcony with seating for two. Deluxe studios will sleep up to 5 guests and feature a kitchenette. All villas will feature a large, fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and living area. Villas also include an en-suite bathroom, freestanding soaking tub, walk-in shower, private porch or balcony, and laundry area with washer and dryer.
The resort’s rooftop signature table-service restaurant, Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera, takes its name from the Italian word for Mickey Mouse, Topolino. The restaurant will serve authentic dishes infused with French and Italian flavors. The new restaurant will offer stunning views of the nighttime spectaculars of both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests will be able to watch as their meal is prepared at the exclusive expo kitchen or wood burning grill. The restaurant will serve an impressive collection of wines from the Mediterranean coast. Guests wishing to start their day off with a unique breakfast experience will be able to dine with characters at Topolino’s Terrace.
Additional dining options at Disney’s Riviera Resort will include Le Petit Café, serving coffee by day and wine by night. Quick-service location Primo Piatto will be conveniently located near the feature pool. Bar Riva, an open-air pool bar with a seaside vibe, invites guests to relax as they enjoy a cold beverage by the pool.
Disney’s Riviera Resort will also be home to Disney’s newest mode of transportation, the Disney Skyliner. This state-of-the-art gondola system will connect Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.
