2018 Disneyland Candy Cane Dates Announced

Each year in November, the Disneyland Candy Makers begin their annual holiday tradition of creating beautiful and delicious candy canes. This tradition at Disneyland dates back to 1968, making this Christmas season the 50th anniversary of the Disneyland candy canes. The Candy Makers create these treats from scratch – mixing the ingredients, hand-pulling the candy, and then rolling, twisting, and wrapping the finished candy cane. As part of Disneyland’s 2018 Christmas celebration, these 18 inch long candy canes will soon be available for purchase.

How To Purchase

Due to the popularity of the hand-made Disneyland candy canes, wrist bands are required to purchase a candy cane. Wrist bands, which are one per guest, allow for purchase of only one candy cane. Wrist bands are distributed upon park opening. While Disney does discourage lining up prior to park opening, it is a good idea to arrive early if you want to get a wrist band. Because the candy canes are hand-made, the quantities are very limited.

I never go to Disneyland around this time of year. I hear that the Disneyland Candy Canes are very popular. I wonder why this isn’t a thing in Orlando.
