We will also say goodbye to a few experiences as we make way for new fun. Let’s take a look at 20 great reasons to visit Walt Disney World this year!
1. Space 220
This innovative dining experience will transport guests 220 miles up into space. Once they arrive in space, guests will have a spectacular view of the Earth below. This new restaurant, located near Mission: SPACE, is scheduled to open Winter 2020.
2. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Mickey & Minnie are finally getting their very own attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The new ride, scheduled to open March 4, 2020, will take guests on an adventure through the world of Mickey Mouse cartoons.
3. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue
The American Adventure at Epcot will soon have a new dining experience inspired by none other than Sam Eagle. This distinctly patriotic restaurant will serve up a variety of barbecue dishes, classic sides, and tasty desserts. Find more details on the restaurant’s menu here.
Debuting at Epcot later this year, HarmonioUS will be the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney Park. The show will celebrate the music of Disney and how it impacts people from around the world. Featuring massive floats, choreographed fountains, lights, fireworks, lasers, and more, HarmonioUS promises to be something you won’t want to miss in the new year.
5. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
The newest attraction at Walt Disney World, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, takes guests on an adventure in a galaxy far, far away. You will not want to miss Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Prior to the arrival of HarmonioUS, Epcot Forever is delighting guests nightly at Epcot. You’ll definitely want to take in this nostalgic show before it’s gone.
7. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
The newest land at Walt Disney World, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, is an attraction in-and-of-itself. This new land transports guests to Batuu where they will become a part of the Star Wars story. 12. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
Located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, guests will have the opportunity to pilot the legendary ship at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Guests can take part in this experience as the pilot, gunner, or engineer. Each role plays an important part in your mission, though I do recommend asking to be a pilot. Just be careful, the wookie won’t be too happy if you damage the ship.
13. Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
The new year will see the return of my favorite Epcot festival, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. This beautiful festival features lovely topiaries, numerous flowers, and delicious snacks. If you visit during the festival, be sure to try the violet lemonade!

Three new films debuted at Epcot with the start of the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts.
